- Removing red polish or a dark colour: Never rub the cotton wool with polish remover in circles. Rather, rub down to the tip / free edge from the top at the cuticle so that the skin doesn’t get stained. Placing Almond Oil on cuticles before removing the polish also prevents those reds from staining the skin.
- The Bio Sculpture removal sachets are already saturated in polish remover, so they are perfect for fitting in your bag and taking on the go without bottles, etc.
- Never Forget the Base Coat. For instance, we have 3 different base coats specific to different nail conditions and types. A few additional seconds spent applying the base coat are worth a couple additional days, your nail polish will last. The base coat protects against nail staining and feeds the nail with vitamins and minerals.
- Never use acetone – Bio Sculpture has Gel Remover that nourishes the nail without extensive dehydration.
- How to keep your polish last longer: Prep. Remember to push back your cuticles and ensure your nailbed is clean before applying your base coat. This will ensure that your polish application lasts longer.
- Quick Dry—Spray Quick Dry over your Top Coat to speed up the drying time of your polished nails. This product rapidly dries nail polish with vitamin E for cuticle care, therefore making it ideal for women on the go.

Healthy Hands and Cuticle Care
In the September/October 2024 edition of Women’s Health South Africa, Tania Biddle, the head of education for Bio Sculpture, discussed the importance of hand and cuticle health. Highlighted is our Passion Berry Exfoliant and Cuticle Cream, named “Best Cuticle Scrub and Best Cuticle Cream “.
Passion Berry Exfoliant:
A nail and cuticle scrub with soft alumina particles and passiflora edulis seed powder that will help to remove dry and dead cells. Kukui nut oil provides antioxidant properties as well as anti-ageing vitamin E and ginseng root extract to nourish nails and cuticles.
Cuticle Cream:
This highly nourishing cuticle cream infused with sweet almond oil, olive oil and avocado oil glides smoothly onto the cuticles leaving them moisturised, feeling beautifully soft. Lavender and tea tree extracts are included in this velvety treatment.
A Shimmering Addition
Our new Shimmer Mist was featured in the Spring edition of Scene in the City. This luxurious product, infused with hyaluronic acid, provides a healthy glow.
